B3. Non Discriminatory Policy

At ‘Etthnovistta’, we are committed to upholding the principles of fairness, neutrality, and inclusivity in our marketplace operations. We believe that all sellers, vendors, and partners deserve equal opportunity to participate, compete, and succeed on our platform.

A. Policy Objective

This policy ensures that no seller is disadvantaged or unfairly treated on the basis of size, business model, ownership, product category, region, or any other factor not directly related to quality, compliance, or performance.

B. Scope of Application

This policy applies to:

  • All sellers/vendors listed on our platform.
  • All products/services sold through our website, app, or ONDC integration.
  • All internal teams involved in seller onboarding, promotion, customer support, or dispute handling.

C. Our Commitments

  • Seller Neutrality
    • We provide equal access to our platform for all eligible sellers who meet applicable compliance and quality standards.
    • We do not discriminate between sellers based on ownership, financial capability, affiliations, or personal relationships.
    • Our platform algorithms, search results, and product visibility are designed to be transparent and impartial, without favoritism to any particular seller.
    • In compliance with ONDC Handbook and Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, ‘Etthnovistta’ will DISCLOSE RANKING PARAMETERS used in search results and product visibility. These parameters will be explained in plain language on the website to ensure full transparency
  • Fair Access
    • Sellers have the right to list their products/services on our platform without bias, subject only to legal, regulatory, and quality requirements.
    • Promotional opportunities (e.g., campaigns, featured listings) will be made available on clear and transparent terms, accessible to all sellers on equal footing.
    • No seller will be given preferential treatment unless expressly required by law, regulation, or ONDC directives (e.g., priority to MSMEs or local artisans under specific government programs).
  • Transparency
    • All sellers will receive clear communication on our policies, fees, commissions, and changes to platform rules.
    • Any seller facing restrictions, de-listing, or suspension will be informed of the reason and given the opportunity to seek redressal through our grievance mechanism.

D. Enforcement & Accountability

Any violation of this policy by employees, partners, or system processes will be subject to investigation and corrective action.

Sellers may raise complaints through our Grievance Redressal Mechanism, which will be handled fairly, promptly, and in accordance with ONDC and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

E. Review & Continuous Improvement

We will periodically review this policy to ensure compliance with:

  • ONDC Network Policies & Principles
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • Applicable Indian laws and global best practices
