B6. Branding & Logo Usage Policy
(in case of use of ONDC marks)

At ‘Etthnovistta’, we recognize the value of consistent, professional, and compliant branding. As a participant in the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), we may use ONDC’s name, logo, or marks in certain permitted contexts. This policy sets out the rules governing such usage, in alignment with ONDC’s Branding and Communication Guidelines.
A. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to:
- Ensure correct and consistent use of ONDC’s logo and brand elements.
- Prevent misuse, distortion, or misrepresentation of ONDC’s identity.
- Protect both ONDC’s brand integrity and our own company’s reputation.
B. Scope
This policy applies to:
- All Members (employees, contractors, associates, retainers, consultants, and management of ‘Etthnovistta’.
- All Partners (sellers, vendors, and third-party service providers) onboarded through our platform.
- All digital, print, and media communications where ONDC’s brand elements may appear.
- All website, app, packaging, promotional, or advertising materials.
C. Permitted Use of ONDC Marks
- ONDC’s name, logo, and brand elements may be used only as permitted under ONDC’s official guidelines.
- Permitted contexts include:
- Declaring our status as an ONDC Network Participant.
- Displaying co-branding on websites, mobile apps, or promotional material, where ONDC has explicitly allowed.
- Using ONDC marks in training, educational, or awareness content (with attribution).
- Any other usage requires ONDC’s prior written approval.
D. Usage Rules
- Correct Representation
- Always use the official ONDC logo in its original form, colors, and proportions.
- Do not alter, stretch, distort, or crop the ONDC logo.
- Maintain clear space around the ONDC logo to ensure visibility.
- Attribution
- Where ONDC’s logo or name is used, it must be accompanied by a clear disclaimer, such as:
- “[Your Company Name] is a registered Network Participant on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). ONDC is a Government of India initiative and retains all rights in its marks and logos.”
- Prohibited Uses
- ONDC marks may not be used in a way that:
- Implies ONDC endorses, guarantees, or certifies our products/services.
- Creates confusion between ONDC and [Your Company Name]’s brand.
- Appears on unauthorized merchandise, packaging, or advertising.
- Suggests exclusive association or partnership, unless formally approved.
E. Internal Review and Approval
- All materials featuring ONDC marks must be reviewed by Etthnovistta’s Compliance/Brand Team before release.
- High-visibility campaigns must additionally be submitted to ONDC for clearance, if required.
F. Enforcement & Penalties
Unauthorized or incorrect use of ONDC marks may lead to:
- Withdrawal of the material.
- Disciplinary action for employees.
- Termination of contracts with vendors/partners.
- Reporting to ONDC for corrective action.
G. Continuous Compliance
- This policy will be updated as ONDC issues revised branding guidelines.
- Training will be provided to all relevant employees and vendors on proper co-branding practices.
